American Style Barn stabling houses 42 liveries with plans to further expand already in place. In the course of its overhaul, the stable barn was literally deconstructed, turned 360 degrees and rebuilt to make the most of naturally available light and ventilation and also creating better access to the paddocks. In addition to British Showjumping affiliated events, the centre holds unaffiliated Dressage competitions and has applied for British Dressage status. We will shortly be introducing new features such as a horse solarium, hot water washdown areas, two horse walkers and electric hook up points. With our build of a premium tack shop, gourmet café and fine restaurant soon to be completed we are looking forward to the coming year. We are very aware that this market has high expectations and standards and we’re convinced that Houghton Hall Equestrian Centre will exceed them on every level”.
